Minimalism is a lifestyle that is often misunderstood. It's not just about having less stuff, it's about living with less so you can focus on what matters most. It's about clearing the clutter and focusing on the things that really matter to you. It's about living a more intentional life.

Make a list of your most-used items
Start making a list of your most-used items. For example, if you wear jeans five days a week, write down jeans. If you wear a certain shirt every single day, write it down. If you have a favorite mug that you drink out of every day, write it down. After you've made your list, cross out any items that are duplicates or that you don't use often enough. Then take a look at your list and see if there are any items on there that you can get rid of without it affecting your life in any way. For example, if you only wear one type of shirt and it's not on the list, get rid of it.

Ask yourself what you really need
Ask yourself what you really need. Do you need 10 shirts? Or just 3? Do you need that old computer or can you buy a new one? Do you need a car, or can you take the bus or bike? You may not be able to get rid of everything, but if you can get rid of some of the clutter in your life, it will make things easier.

Get rid of one item every day.
One of the best ways to become a minimalist is to get rid of one item every day. You don't need to get rid of everything, just one thing. You can donate items, recycle them or sell them. You can also give them away to friends or family members. This will help you get rid of things you don't need and make room for the things you do want.

Sell or donate the rest
When you're ready to take the leap, start by asking yourself what you want out of life. What are your goals? What are your values? What do you want to spend your time doing? Once you've answered those questions, you can start to make decisions about what to keep and what to let go. A great place to start is with your clothing. Take a look at your wardrobe and ask yourself if any of the clothes are worth more than $5. If not, sell or donate them. Next, take a look at your kitchen. Do you have duplicate items? If so, consider donating them to a food bank or selling them on Craigslist. Finally, take a look at your living space. Do you have any items that are broken, dusty or just not serving their purpose anymore? Sell or donate them.

Declutter one space at a time
Another way to clear up the space is to declutter one space at a time. Start with the easiest space, such as the dresser or closet. Try to get rid of anything that you don't use often or doesn't serve a purpose. Once you've decluttered one space, move on to another. You'll find that it gets easier and easier each time.

Keep only things that make you happy
The key to becoming a minimalist is to keep only the things that make you happy. If you are not sure if an item makes you happy, ask yourself a few questions:
1. Do I use this?
2. Do I like the way it looks?
3. Does it make me feel good when I touch it?
4. Does this item bring me joy?
5. What would happen if I didn't have this?
6. Would my life be better without this object in my life?

Buy less stuff
The less stuff you have, the less time you need to spend cleaning, maintaining, and organizing all of it. If you don't have a lot of space in your home, buying less stuff will also make it easier to find things. You will also be able to spend more time doing what you love when you don't have to worry about clutter.

 Conclusion
Becoming a minimalist is as simply as to realize what you really need and let go of those things that you don't need.  Once you have that mindset switched, it would take no time to become a true minimalist. Write us and let us know what are your tips and feeling to be a minimalist!
